LG X3 Might Arrive in US as T-Mobile G4X, first Quad-Core Phone with Default Android 4.0 Stock
Samsung Galaxy S Blaze 4G is the latest android handset that recently announced to become the part of T-Mobile members. But if you expect the carrier to come out with more high-end phones, then you should listen to what Evan Blass said. Being well-known for his good track record in T-Mobile news, Blass suggest that the LG X3 will be available at the carrier’s inventory soon and called as T-Mobile G4X. He also noted that the international version will be known as Optimus 4X.
LG is expected to officially introduced the X3 at the upcoming MWC 2012 next week. There’s already some rumors spread around the web about it’s technical details. It is said that LG X3 will be powered by a Nvidia Tegra 3 processors and posses 16GB internal memory. For camera unit, this handset will carry on 8.0 megapixels on the rear side and 1.3 megapixels on the front side.
LG X3 will sports 4.7 inch screen with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution display. When it comes to connectivity, this phone will support for Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, and HSPA+ 21Mbps. LG X3 will completely rely on an 2,000mAh battery unit for it’s main power source.
If the X3 is indeed released as part of the T-Mobile G-series, then this phone could be the first US quad-core phone with default Android 4.0 stock. All of the previous G-series handsets were shipped with the default Android OS stock, instead of carrier’s or manufacturer’s own UI modification.
